Chardonnay : aromatic grape variety, distributed by the monks in the 16th century in Burgundy and Champagne. Introduced in Valais in 1921.
Aging for 18 months on fine lees in oak barrels gives it finesse and complexity. The nose reveals few notes of candied fruit. It is distinguished by its elegance, its aromas with a blend of floral scents on a white fruit background and a slight hint of vanilla in the barrel.
An aperitif wine. Our Chardonnay Collection F also goes very well with starters, fish, shellfish and cheese. We recommend to be served at a temperature of between 8° and 10°.
