Central Valais, on the right side of the valley.
Sylvaner, said to be a plant from the Rhine, probably originating from Transylvania. It is marketed in Valais under the name «Johannisberg».
A glorious offspring from our extremely sunny slopes, it is poetry and charm, enthusiasm and distinction. It is both sweet and full-bodied; an elegant wine with a naturally noble character.
It adores celebratory occasions. It accompanies trout au bleu, dishes in cream sauces, meat pâtés, saffron risotto, curries, and soft cheeses. But its ideal partner is asparagus. An absolute delight!
it to be served at a temperature of between 7°C and 9°C.
