Cornalin, also called «Rouge du Pays» (Country Red) in the French speaking part of Valais and 'Landroter' in Upper Valais - the German speaking region - is probably one of the oldest red vintages which has ever been planted in Valais.
It is a wine which is on the ascent. It possesses a distinctive character of its own, a deep red colour and a splendid cherry bouquet.
«Chant du Vent» Cornalin, a wine with a rustic and wild character, spicy with clove aromas, goes extremely well with red meat, an «assiette valaisan» - the traditional Valaisan dish, quails, pigeon, game birds and animals as well as local cheeses.
it to be served at a temperature of between 16°C and 20°C.
