Ripened in extremely favourable small vineyards in the city of Sion.
Chasselas. Opinions on the origin of the chasselas grape vary. Originally, this variety probably came from Egypt. The name FENDANT is a designation of origin reserved exclusively for the Valais.
The fortunate alliance of the soil and grape variety confers upon the Fendant "Dame de Sion" all of the typical qualities of a great white wine from the Valais. It is dry, agreeable, refined and fruity with a particularly attractive elegance.
Fendant "Dame de Sion", an aperitif wine par excellence, makes a superb accompaniment to a raclette, fondue, cheese dish and other Valais specialities; it is in its element everywhere and at every time.
This wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of between 7 and 9° and should be drunk while still young.
